Over the last few years, I’ve had various ideas for nifty web-applications to build. My go-to for prototyping these apps were Ruby on Rails and Heroku.

Over the years, I ended up having a preferred set of gems, configurations, etc. to prototype powerful, cloud-first, production-ready Rails web-applications. That way, if an idea did take off, it would have a solid foundation to build on top-off.

Jekimo is the result of this. An opinionated, open-source Ruby on Rails template that’s ready to deploy to Heroku.

Check it out!
